Why is it happening and who is it for?
This is an annual celebration on the Liverpool Waterfront. The event is open to everyone to enjoy and is especially popular with families. This year we are combining the event with the city’s Armed Forces Day on VE Day (taking place on Friday 8 May).

Should I use public transport to get to the River Festival Liverpool events?

Yes absolutely. Although please be aware that bringing your own alcohol is not allowed and strictly prohibited.

There will be a variety of food and drink concessions throughout the event site offering a selection of tasty treats – so there will be plenty of opportunity for you to buy refreshments throughout the day.
